Veined gray picture jasper beads alternating with polished silver rounds on stretch cord. Every jasper bead carries its own map-like markings, so no two bracelets match. Earthy and cool-toned at once.
The story behind this piece
The old fishermen never used charts — the map lived in their heads, all swirls and channels and named rocks — but this gray jasper looks exactly like what I imagined those maps would be. Every bead a different piece of remembered water. I put silver between them for the compass they never needed.
