White glass beads finished with a purple-and-black drizzle-paint splatter, gathered around one milky opalescent faceted crystal flanked by gold rhinestone rondelles. Painterly and a little unexpected. Strung on stretch cord.
The story behind this piece
Wild orchids grow on the fence posts along our road, white petals splashed with purple like someone flicked a paintbrush at them. After rain they hold one bead of water each, dead center — that's the milky crystal in the middle of these splattered beads.
