The story behind this piece
For my confirmation, my mother gave me a cross cut from mother-of-pearl — the same gleam as the inside of the oyster shells we found in the lagoon. This bracelet is built around that gift: white pearls, a shell cross, one gold coin like a blessing. She's in every knot of it.
