The story behind this piece
My very first piece of jewelry was shells strung on my father's fishing line, sold to a tourist at the pier for two dollars I kept in a shoe for a year. I still make simple stretch strands like this one — bright seed beads, nothing fancy — because that's where all of this started. Some bracelets are just a thank-you note to a nine-year-old.
