Every large bead on this necklace is a sculpted rose in pearlescent ivory, separated by small pink glass pearls. The carved petals give it real texture you can feel. Romantic, but sturdy enough for every day.
The story behind this piece
My grandmother grew roses in tin buckets on her porch, which everyone said was impossible in island salt air, and every Sunday she proved them wrong with one pinned to her dress. Each carved bead here is one of her impossible roses. I string them slowly, out of respect.
