Large satin-white glass pearls alternating with blue-veined marbled glass beads in a steady one-two rhythm. The crackle veining in the blue beads looks like waterlines on glass. Substantial without being heavy, with a secure clasp.
The story behind this piece
Over white sand the shallows do this trick where the light breaks into blue veins that wander and cross like something alive. I'd float face-down for an hour just watching them. The marbled beads are those veins; the white pearls are the sand they travel over.
