Eleven creamy glass pearl drops spaced along a gold-tone rolo chain, hanging like a soft fringe at the collarbone. The drops swing gently when you move. Dressy enough for dinner, easy enough for a sundress.
The story behind this piece
When rain hits our tin roof it gathers along the eave and hangs there in a row of fat silver drops before letting go. As a girl I'd stand under the edge and dare them. Eleven pearl drops on this chain — that's the roofline of my mother's house, mid-rain.
