The story behind this piece
People think sand is one color until they've walked a whole island β West Bay is white, the little coves go champagne and cream, and after rain the path sand turns almost mauve. I collected these pearl shades the way I once collected the sands themselves. The dotted bead in the middle is the pocket stone I carried between beaches.
