Black glass beads set with trios of white glass pearls and rhinestone rondelle spacers, centered on an oversized iridescent pearl with antiqued silver caps. The big baroque-style focal shifts through rainbow luster as it moves. Approximately 45cm with a clasp.
The story behind this piece
When a storm rolls in over the reef, the sea goes almost black and the whitecaps march in rows — and then it passes, and the moon breaks out over water still shaking. That big rainbow-luster pearl at the center is the moon coming back; the black and white strand is everything the storm did first.
