A strand of white and champagne glass pearls broken up by color-block sections of polymer clay heishi discs in pink, orange, yellow, blue, green and purple. The mix of glossy pearl and matte clay gives it a fun, tactile rhythm. Approximately 45cm with a clasp.
The story behind this piece
On ship days the dock market was a riot — mangoes and sarongs and shaved ice in every color, stacked against the white hulls in the harbor. I broke this pearl strand open with bands of bright heishi discs because that's how those mornings felt: something calm and classic, interrupted by pure color.
