The story behind this piece
As a girl my pockets were always full of shells — cowries mostly, and once a perfect little starfish I kept for years. This chain bracelet is those pockets emptied out and turned to gold: pearls, a cowrie, a starfish, everything the beach ever paid me for showing up.
