Large glossy wood beads alternating rust orange and sage green, carrying a big circular resin medallion filled with amber-toned stones and gold foil flakes. Chunky, warm, and earthy — a genuine statement necklace. Heavier than the glass pieces, in the best way.
The story behind this piece
The iguanas that own our almond trees are rust and olive exactly — orange along the spine, green going gray in the shade, ancient faces like little emperors. I alternated these wood beads in their honor and set an amber-and-gold medallion at the center for the afternoon light they bake in. They didn't thank me; they never do.
